Scott & Amy Ishman

Scott and Amy had limited roof space on their home and garage. They had always wanted an electric car, but charging it was an obstacle that had always held them back from buying one. We were able to put an EV charging-capable inverter out in their garage, connected to the 16 panels we could fit on the west facing roof of their garage. Another 16 panels fit on the east facing roof of their home. The garage system comes straight to the home and both systems work together to offset the homeowners needs. And they will soon be the proud owners of an all-electric car! When the morning of the utility witness test and final interconnection arrived, Amy and Scott were dismayed to wake up to snow! But even under the dusting, not only did the system turn on for good, but also produced power!

Clay has wanted solar ever since he built his home over 20 years ago. And 2019 was the year he knew he would do it! With the help of a few good friends, Clay got a new roof put on and we got his system installed just under the wire, December 31st. This 7.44 kW system was sized to make the most of being on a utility that does not offer net metering, and will offset a vast majority of his electricity bill.

Randy Lively

Randy got his 9.6kW system installed on the pole barn next to his home in January 2019. Since then, he has been keeping detailed records of how much his system is saving him. Last month was the first time he has paid for electricity since the system was installed, and even then his bill was 2/3 of what it would have been without solar! Randy also helped us develop the spreadsheet that we offer to our more techy customers that really want to keep track of each kW. Contact emily@aessolar.com to get your hands on it!
